The upcoming Rajim Kumbh Kalp in Chhattisgarh will showcase India’s Sanatan Hindu tradition. It will witness the presence of saints associated with ‘Sanatan Dharma’ from Uttarakhand to Tamil Nadu. Under the supervision of Religious Trusts and Endowments Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, preparations are underway for the Rajim Kumbh Kalp. This year, the festivity will be celebrated as Ramotsav, with elaborate arrangements underway at Rajim Triveni Sangam. The main stage will be decorated on the theme of Ayodhya’s Shri Ramlalla temple.
Minister Brijmohan Agrawal stated that the venue of the Rajim Kumbh Kalp will be equipped with all the necessary arrangements. Cutting-edge techniques like 3D mapping and laser shows, operated by an expert team from Mumbai, will bring life to Ramkatha. This innovative approach will showcase a captivating form of Ramkatha to devotees. Drawing from the success of Prayagraj Kumbh, Rajim’s fair will make arrangements for organised shop structures, which will facilitate a seamless and fruitful event for all involved.
Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal shared that the Rajim Kumbh Kalp will commence on February 24 and end on March 8. In this auspicious event, sages, saints, Peethadhishwar, Mathadhish, Mahatma, and Shankaracharya will participate from many places across the country, including Haridwar, Kashi, Mathura, Ayodhya, and Chitrakoot. The state government is ensuring that the devotees do not face any problems in reaching the venue during Rajim Kumbh. The roads have been widened considerably by arranging the shops in the fair venue. The administration has prepared an organised structure for Rajim Kumbh, like the Prayagraj Kumbh, and has established shops so that the shopkeepers will benefit and the devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience.
*Kumbh Kalp to organise three holy dips*
Minister Shri Agrawal stated that during Rajim Kumbh Kalp, three holy dips will be organised on February 24, Magh Purnima, March 4, Mata Janaki Jayanti, and March 8, Mahashivratri, respectively. Volunteers are present to guide and assist the devotees. Special care will be taken for cleanliness during Kumbh. A large number of sanitation workers are working tirelessly to clean the river and surrounding areas. For the convenience of the devotees, arrangements for a large number of portable toilets and changing rooms have been made at the venue.
*Administration will make arrangements of feeding rooms for lactating mothers*
Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal shared that the administration has made every possible arrangement to cater to all age groups attending Rajim Kumbh. The state government has also made feeding room arrangements at the venue for lactating mothers.
*Hospitals are available for first aid at the venue*
Minister Shri Agrawal shared that, considering the previous incidents at melas, the administration has made several healthcare arrangements, including setting up a 10-bed hospital at the venue for any emergency services by the health department.
*Kumbh will showcase a grand tableau on the theme of Ramotsav*
Minister Shri Agrawal shared that a grand tableau will be displayed at the Kumbh venue based on the theme of Ramotsav. Depicting Lord Shri Ram’s exile moments in Chhattisgarh, the tableau will showcase laser lights and immersive sound effects, which will captivate the devotees. The Lakshman Jhula has been decorated with LED lights, which will add festivity to the grand events. A special plan has been prepared to give a grand look to Rajim Kumbh. The experts are providing their services with the aim for nationwide and global recognition.
